5 Quick and Easy Outlook tips

I'm always looking for ways to use my software, especially Outlook, more effectively.  Here's a few of my favorites:

Outlook Tip #1: Was an important message sent to the Junk E-mail folder? If an item gets moved to your Junk E-mail folder by mistake, select the message, and then press CTRL+ ALT+J.

Outlook Tip #2: Keep track of messages that require action.

Adding an Extra Hour to Your Day

Don’t we all wish there were more hours in our day?  Don’t you find that there’s never enough time to get everything done?  Do you ever look back at the end of the day and wonder what in the world you’ve accomplished that day?If any of the above scenarios ring true to you, you’re not alone!  However, there are some small, time-saving technologies you can use to automate or speed up what you get done to save an hour (or MORE) to your day.

I'm thankful for IT

I have a gratitude journal that I keep by my bedside that I reach for on nights when I’ve had a hard day.  Sometimes I add to the list, sometimes I simply review old entries as it reminds of all the good things in my life.

As I’m preparing for Thanksgiving, it struck me that I should add technology to my list and here are my reasons why:

I don't know about you but keeping up with my email is a daunting task. On an average day, I receive somewhere between 200-400 emails. Sifting through the noise to pinpoint the important messages can be a real challenge. I've always been on a quest to effectively manage my email and am fortunate to have two clients who I feel are shining examples of effective email management.
