The season of giving thanks…

Our office will close Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th

so that our staff may enjoy Thanksgiving with family and friends.

Tis the season…of THANKS and GIVING! THANKful for what we have, our staff teamed up with Star of Hope and gathered supplies to GIVE two families in need a Thanksgiving dinner.

This month’s email management strategy is:  Automate!

Wouldn’t it be nice to automatically file non-critical mail?  Highlight critical mail?  Group people together?  Memorize a series of commonly used steps?

Did you know that in Outlook you can: 

Create rules for senders who usually post informational messages.

November is Child Safety and Protection Month. There is plenty of information out there about keeping kids physically safe from cuts and bruises. But as more and more youngsters have access to the internet and borrow our devices, we thought it would be a good idea to share some guidelines about keeping young ones safe when they are surfing the web or using electronics.

As a reminder, a particularly nasty virus or ransomware called CryptoLocker is on the rise.

What’s the big deal?
It encrypts your files and you could potentially lose your data forever including the data on your file servers.

How can I get infected?
The ransomware has typically been delivered via email with an attachment from what appears to be reputable senders such as FedEx and UPS.
