Senior IT Consultant, Mike Oster, shares his thoughts on VoIP…
I have been in the IT industry for over 30 years, so it takes a lot for a technology to impress me. VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a technology that impresses me. Maybe it’s because I remember the early days of the Internet, when things were as slow as a sloth.
Be prepared…we all know this as the Boy Scout motto. And candidly it could also be a motto or refrain you would hear from the many professionals at IT Radix. We take our work with our clients very seriously and want to enable our clients to work regardless of any kind of small nuisance or large disaster that could affect their technology, their data, their location or their staff.
The keepers of the Parrot Gardens at the Vancouver Zoo thought they had it all under control in 2009. Clip the wings of all the birds and none can escape. We are very proud to be working with one of our newest clients. We feel that way for a host of reasons, but the main one is that this company is a New Jersey success story—a family business that traces its roots back three generations. The firm was started by an immigrant couple selling their unique food products door to door in Hoboken and Jersey City.
Maintaining a healthy business environment is an important part of running a successful company. Your environment affects every part of your business, so it’s important to maintain a healthy space.
But your environment doesn’t stop at your office doors; and as business leaders, it is our responsibility to be mindful of the environment outside of our offices, too.
Other than when playing the board game, managing “risk” is never a game. Our newest client manages risk as its core competency. They are in the business of high powered insurance products and services, and work full time at minimizing risk for their clients.
