SPAM Blocker Tip of the Month – Do Not Attempt to Unsubscribe from SPAM Mail

image-SPAM Blocker LaptopThis month’s SPAM Blocker Tip is:
Do not attempt to unsubscribe from SPAM mail

If you didn't subscribe, then why unsubscribe?  Most spammers are using it to validate your email address for further spamming purposes.  It's simple:  if you unsubscribe, it means your email address exists and someone (you) is reading the emails. However, if it’s from a legitimate email service (e.g., Constant Contact, Mail Chimp, etc.), it is safe to unsubscribe. Sometimes you may be subscribed by people who get your business card at networking events. If they use a legitimate email service, it is safe to unsubscribe.
