We are pleased to announce that the New Jersey State Golf Association is now one of the newest clients of IT Radix.  This nonprofit organization can trace its origins back to 1900 and now boasts over 250 members.  It is dedicated to the service of golf in the State of New Jersey and its activities promote and preserve the traditions of golf all over the state.

IT Radix is very pleased to welcome the New Jersey Order of the Sisters of Charity of St. Elizabeth to its growing roster of clients.    This large community of nearly 75 Nuns is an assemblage of incredible women who have committed their entire lives to education, health care and pastoral/social services by serving individuals throughout northern New Jersey.

We’re pleased to welcome one of our latest clients, Piemonte & Liebhauser, to the IT Radix family.  Led by Gina Liebhauser, P&L's skill, attention to detail, follow-through and management abilities make P&L one of the most accomplished and effective accounting & business management firms in the New York metropolitan area.

All computers, tablets and smartphones have regular updates released by the hardware and software manufacturers.  Why update?  The basic answer is to ensure that everything works.
For example, Microsoft pushes out updates so the operating system will run smoother and seamlessly.

In the words of sir Francis Bacon, “Knowledge is Power!” This is exactly what your in-house IT guru has—the knowledge of how your network is set up and where everything is, thus the power to control it. Well, that’s all well and good, but what happens if your IT person up and leaves? Where does that knowledge (and power) go?!?!? That’s right.

At IT Radix, our clients are our rock-stars.  We've developed a variety of checklists to help us deliver computer support services.  Why?

The following is a short excerpt from The Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande, also reprinted by Tehelka magazine in India.

Don’t we all wish there were more hours in our day?  Don’t you find that there’s never enough time to get everything done?  Do you ever look back at the end of the day and wonder what in the world you’ve accomplished that day?If any of the above scenarios ring true to you, you’re not alone!  However, there are some small, time-saving technologies you can use to automate or speed up what you get done to save an hour (or MORE) to your day.

I have a gratitude journal that I keep by my bedside that I reach for on nights when I’ve had a hard day.  Sometimes I add to the list, sometimes I simply review old entries as it reminds of all the good things in my life.

As I’m preparing for Thanksgiving, it struck me that I should add technology to my list and here are my reasons why:

IT has opened my world to so many places and people.

What amazes me most about the Internet is the wealth of information available at your tips. I use the Internet, email newsletters, and all the new forms of social networking to keep up with industry trends, world news, friends from days gone by, and more.
