Last summer, IT Radix embarked on an office remodel to enhance our workspace. Rings reveal a lot about trees. Each spring and summer, a tree adds new layers of wood to its trunk. The spring-formed wood is made up of large cells and appears lighter. During the summer, growth is slower, thus, the cells are smaller and the wood is darker.

Our community partner, Green Vision Inc., specializes in Electronics Recycling. They are a nationally recognized 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit operation dedicated to providing a supported work environment to students and adults with developmental disabilities.
Many businesses leverage temporary or seasonal staff. The benefits are obvious—expertise and additional resources/capacity when you need it. With the advances in technology, utilizing these types of personnel is even easier. However, what may not be so obvious are the network security risks; in particular, the increased potential for compromised sensitive data or loss of control of the data.
